ERA Wilder Realty- Statesville to Host Bluegrass Festival for MDA
Statesville, NC October 20, 2007 - Lending a hand to help combat neuromuscular
disease, ERA Wilder Realty will sponsor a Bluegrass Festival at 122 Venture Ln.
in Statesville, NC on October 20, 2007 to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy
Association (MDA).
Wilder Realty will host a festival of music of music and fun, in the vacant lot
next to Staples in Statesville, NC. They will offer face painting and numerous
prizes and drawings in addition to a bake sale to help raise money.
"Sponsoring this Bluegrass Festival is just one more way that we can show our
support for MDA and the important work it does for those with neuromuscular diseases,"
said Rodney Creech, Broker in Charge. "Every contribution, no matter how small,
can make all the difference in helping researchers to find a cure and send a kid
to camp,” said Carrie Sides, MDA Organizer for Statesville Branch.
The Bluegrass Festival is one of hundreds of events organized by ERA real estate members nationwide to benefit MDA. Since 1977, ERA brokers and sales associates have collectively raised more than $30 million
to fund research and provide services to help the more than one million Americans
affected by neuromuscular diseases. The sole corporate sponsor of MDA from the
real estate industry, ERA Real Estate is among the top corporate contributors
to the organization each year.
